Governance National policy structure: With adoption of the Agreement, Armenian Government put forward a complex plan for implementation of international obligations emanating from the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. --------- Identification of cross - cutting issues between Climate Change Convention and global/regional environmental international conventions and other legal treaties and development of the joint implementation concepts and action plans. --------- Development of the climate change Adaptation Concept with ecosystem approach and National Adaptation Program of Actions (NAPA). Government Decree N1594 on “Approval of the Action Plan of RA Obligations Emanating from a Number of International Environmental Conventions” (10 November 2011) Based on the Obligations of the Republic of Armenia emanating from a number of international Environmental Conventions as well as the Article 2 of the Government decree N541 (08.04.2004) the Government of the Republic of Armenia provides for the following: 1. Approve the Action Plan of RA Obligations Emanating from a Number of International Environmental Conventions according to the Annex.2. Assign the Ministers (Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Ministry of Education and Sciences, Ministry of Healthcare, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Transport and Communication, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Emergency Situations), the chairman of the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre, the head of the State Revenue Committee, the Head of the State Committee for Water Management of the Ministry of Territorial Administration, and to propose to the President of the National Academy of Sciences, the Rector of the Armenian State Agricultural University, the Head of Scientific Educational Center of ecological Right of the Law faculty of YSU, the Director of Justice Department , if needed and according to the required format to submit information to the RA Ministry of Nature Protection on the current status of the Obligations according to the Annex of this Decision.
