Overall Summary: 
The Integrated Energy Supply Act Act aims to actively cope with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and to contribute to energy conservation. In doing so, it promotes the expansion of the integrated energy supply, by operating the integrated energy supply reasonably and by prescribing the matters concerning the construction, operation and safety of integrated energy facilities. This Act amends previous Acts.

Governance
National policy structure: 
The Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy shall develop and publicly announce a master plan for integrated energy supply (hereinafter referred to as "master plan") every five years as prescribed by Presidential Decree.---The Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy shall determine and publicly announce the technical standards necessary for the construction and operation of integrated energy facilities (hereinafter referred to as "technical standards").
Energy institutional structures: 
The Korea District Heating Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the "Corporation") shall be established to efficiently supply integrated energy for residential districts, commercial districts, etc.
