Overall Summary:
The National Climate Change Policy 2012-2016 provides guidelines for sectors to ensure that current and expected impacts of climate change are considered in their planning and implementation programmes. The policy addresses climate change impacts, giving particular attention to the reduction of green house gases emissions and to the importance of coordination among sectors. In particular it deals with objectives and strategies, along with a timeframe (between 2013 and 2016) that every sector should respect, policy monitoring and review and its implementation.
