Energy management principles: 
1. Rules governing electric current installations. (1) The installation of material to convey electric current for lighting or power produced by the power house at Port Vila of l’Union Electrique Vanuatu Limited (hereafter called the concessionaire), whose concession to supply such current under the provisions of the contract with the Joint Administration dated the 10 May, 1939, commenced on the 1 October, 1941, shall be governed by the following rules – (a) the rules laid down by "l’Union des Syndicats d’Electricité" dated 9 January, 1929; or (b) the Standards Association of Australia Wiring Rules Part 1 (Wiring Methods) dated January, 1940. (2) The above rules may be substituted for others by Order of the Minister. (3) The concessionaire shall maintain copies of the above rules at their office at Port Vila available for inspection by prospective clients and installation contractors.
