The policy provides that the information on the energy efficiency class for the appliances should be revealed in the technical documentation attached to the appliances and on their labels. The list of the appliances is revealed in annexes (e.g. refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, dish-washing machines, light bulbs, ovens, elevators). The regulating principles for manufacturers, importers on determining of energy efficiency class should be adopted. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in coordination with the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation are responsible for the classification of the energy efficient appliances which should be labeled.
