Overall Summary: 
This technical regulation of the Customs Union applies to low-voltage equipment on the territory of the Customs Union. Low-voltage equipment is the equipment, covered by the technical regulations of the Customs Union, with nominal voltage from 50 to 1000 (inclusive) AC and 75 to 1500 (inclusive) DC. The technical regulation of the Customs Union shall not apply to the equipment intended for use in potentially explosion hazardous area, medical products, electrical equipment of lifts and hoists (other than electrical machines), electrical equipment for defense purposes, control devices for pasture fences, electrical equipment intended for use on air, water, land and underground transport, electrical equipment for reactor safety systems of nuclear power plants.

EE labeling: 
Low Voltage Products are put into circulation on the market when they comply with the technical regulations of the Customs Union, as well as the regulations of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC). Low-voltage equipment not conforming to the requirements of technical regulations of the Customs Union, should not be labeled and is not allowed to be released into circulation in the market. Name and (or) the designation of low-voltage equipment (type, make, model), its main features and characteristics affecting safety, name and (or) the trademark of the manufacturer, the country's name, which produced low-voltage equipment, must be applied to the low-voltage equipment specified in the annexed operational documents. Manufacturer's name and (or) its trade mark, name and notation of low-voltage equipment (type, make, model) should also be applied to the packaging. Marking of low voltage equipment shall be legible, easy to read and applied to the low-voltage equipment in an accessible for inspection without disassembly using the site tool. Marking a single sign of products on the market states - members of the Customs Union is carried out before the release of low-voltage equipment in the market circulation.
