ESCAP has recently launched the new "InfraMaps" section of the Portal, providing interactive maps of powerplants within the region. Presented as layers, users can view conventional and renewable power plants by resource type. The powerplant data gathering effort continues, and is expected to be complete in summer 2017, at which time the first maps of grid infrastructure will also be made available.
