The Additional Directive (IV) on the Sale of Petroleum Products (Gasoline and Diesel) sets specific rules to ensure that sales of petroleum products are continually controlled by the Government. Energy management principles: 
The amount of purchases set by the Authority is as follows: (a). Personal Consumption (i). Amount of purchases shall not exceed 20 liters; and (ii). Purchases shall be restricted to Brunei Darussalam’s yellow and red Identity Card holders only; (b). Use For Fishing Activities (i). Amount of purchases shall not exceed 100 liters; (ii). Purchases shall be restricted to Brunei Darussalam’s Identity Card holders only; (iii). Purchaser shall present the License on Fishing Gears issued by Fisheries Department, Brunei Darussalam; and (iv). Purchases shall be made using Fleetcard approved by the Authority. (c). Use For Vessel and Boat (i). Amount of purchases shall not exceed 100 liters; (ii). Purchases shall be restricted to Brunei Darussalam’s Identity Card holders only; (iii). Purchaser shall present the Certificate of Registration of Vessel issued by the Marine Department, Brunei Darussalam. For purchases for usage by boat, the permit issued by Marine Department, Brunei Darussalam shall be presented. (iv). Purchases shall be made using Fleetcard approved by the Authority. 2. The rates and maximum volume of Petroleum Products purchase using a Fleetcard referred to in this Directive shall be set by the Authority.
