Overall Summary: 
The Energy Conservation (Regulated Goods and Registered Suppliers) Regulations 2017 sets out the energy efficiency requirements for regulated goods such as regulated air-conditioners, clothes dryers, lamps, refrigerators, televisions, motors.
Efficiency
EE standards for appliances: 
(a) a regulated air-conditioner — (i) must be registered under regulation 4; (ii) must comply with the applicable energy efficiency standards under regulation 5; and (iii) must be labelled with an Energy Label in accordance with regulation 6; (b) a regulated clothes dryer — (i) must be registered under regulation 4; (ii) must comply with the applicable energy efficiency standards under regulation 5; and (iii) must be labelled with an Energy Label in accordance with regulation 6; (c) a regulated lamp — (i) must be registered under regulation 4; (ii) must comply with the applicable energy efficiency standards under regulation 5; and (iii) must be labelled with an Energy Label in accordance with regulation 6; (d) a regulated refrigerator — (i) must be registered under regulation 4; (ii) must comply with the applicable energy efficiency standards under regulation 5; and (iii) must be labelled with an Energy Label in accordance with regulation 6; (e) a regulated television — (i) must be registered under regulation 4; and (ii) must be labelled with an Energy Label in accordance with regulation 6; [S 603/2018 wef 01/10/2018] (f) a regulated motor — (i) must be registered under regulation 4; (ii) must comply with the applicable energy efficiency standards under regulation 5; and (iii) must be accompanied by the applicable product information in accordance with regulation 8A.
