Governance
National policy structure:
In response to the full liberalization of entry of a variety of businesses into the electricity retail market, the guidelines were established in January 2016 to show related businesses the approaches to observing the Electricity Business Act and other relevant laws and regulations and to encourage related businesses to voluntarily engage in appropriate efforts. Following this, the guidelines were revised in July 2016 and June 2017 in light of environments and situations around the start of the full liberalization.
