Prices order for diesel

Noting:

1 Diesel is declared goods for the purposes of the Act(see Gazette Notice No. 344/2008 published on 12 September 2008).

2 The Minister published a notice of intention to make a prices order for diesel under section 6(1) of the Act (see Gazette Notice No. 505/2012 published on 13 September 2012).

3 The Minister has had regard to the representations made by interested persons.

4 The maximum wholesale price at which petrol may be sold remains as $1.40 per litre and the maximum retail price at which petrol may be sold remains as $1.70 per litre (see Gazette Notice No. 212/2011 published on 30 March 2011).

Order:

I order that:

1 The maximum wholesale price at which diesel may be sold is $1.60 per litre.

2 The maximum retail price at which diesel may be sold is $1.90 per litre.
