EE priorities: 
Strategies for greener growth need to be tailored to fit specific country circumstances. To promote green growth and sustainable financing in the construction industry, the following policy measures shall be pursued: i. Provide incentives to adopt construction standards that take into account energy efficiency, environment friendly and new traditional buildings using traditional materials and resilient traditional construction techniques. ii. Provide incentives to local manufacturers that provide environmentally friendly and energy efficient materials and also help minimize imports of construction materials in manufacturing industry.
Governance
Energy management principles: 
MoEA: Shall explore manufacturing of construction materials by local manufactures, import substitution and develop minerals for supply to local industries. It shall also ensure that construction practices comply with Alternative Renewable Energy Policy and National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Policy.
