Article 3: The duties and powers of the Ministry of Oil are as follows: A- Governance and policy-making affairs. 1. Development of procedures and executive instructions for protection, maintenance and promotion of health, hygiene, safety and environment, peaceful life and defense in the oil industry, in coordination with the executive bodies and relevant institutions and monitoring their implementation; 5. Establishing regulations and issuing necessary instructions for the good performance of exploration, development, production, transfer, privacy pipelines and installations, storage, distribution and consumption of oil, gas and petrochemical products; 6. Providing protection and protection of resources, facilities, pipeline networks, electricity and telecommunications, buildings, property and related documents to the Ministry of Oil and its subsidiaries by the Oil Industry Protection Organization in cooperation with security, military, law enforcement and defence; 7.
