22. My renewable energy strategy begins with a vision for affordable, secure, and sustainable energy system that provides for New Zealanders’ wellbeing in a low emissions world. Such an energy system would also provide opportunities to grow New Zealand’s economy by driving innovation in clean energy and providing opportunities to grow New Zealand’s exports. 23. In achieving this vision, my strategy focusses on three main outcomes: a) An inclusive and consumer focused energy system.
