Article 1. Establishment of the State Steering Committee on Power Planning VI, to assist the Government, the Prime Minister directs the implementation of Power Planning VI. Article 2. Duties and powers of the State Steering Committee on Power Planning VI: 1. Directing, inspecting and urging the implementation of investment and construction of power source and grid projects approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 110/2007/QD-TTg dated July 18, 2007 on Power Planning VI. Under the authorization of the Prime Minister to decide on the mechanisms and policies and deal with specific issues under the competence of the Prime Minister in the process of organizing and implementing the Power Master Plan VI. Regularly report to the Prime Minister on the construction progress and quality of electrical works; contents beyond their competence, propose solutions to submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision. 3. Directing ministries, branches and People's Committees of relevant provinces, together with investors, domestic and foreign consulting organizations, contractors to carry out the contents according to their tasks to ensure the progress construction and project quality. 4. Direct and coordinate with relevant sectors and localities to solve problems and obstacles in the implementation of projects on migration, resettlement, and clearance of lake beds and ground for the construction of Son La hydropower project.
