Clean Technology Program Closure:

The Australian Government, as part of the commitment to deliver savings by abolishing the Carbon Tax, announced its intention to discontinue funding for the Clean Technology Program.  This includes the three program components: the Clean Technology Investment Program, the Clean Technology Food and Foundries Investment Program, and the Clean Technology Innovation Program (Media Release: Our Plan to get the Budget under Control, 28 August 2013 ). The Programs are now closed to new applications.  AusIndustry has contacted all applicants directly with advice on the status of their application. 

The Emissions Reduction Fund, which came into effect on 13 December 2014, is the centrepiece of the Australian Government’s policy suite to reduce emissions. The Emissions Reduction Fund will support Australian businesses and households to take practical, direct action to reduce emissions and improve the environment.
