Energy environmental priorities:

The policy identifies a number of financial priorities directed at restructuring and modernization of the coal sector: 1) support to the development of alternative fuel types; 2) capacity building and modernization of existing facilities; 3) financial support to economically unviable coal enterprises; 4) social protection for the employees of the coal industry; 5) implementation of the state policy on ensuring safety of coal enterprises, etc. ---- Art. 7.2. states that the Coal Act aims to ensure compliance with anti-monopoly legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
