Regulation No. 29752 of 2016 on Support of Local Components Used in Facilities Generating Electric Energy from Renewable Energy Sources stipulates the principles, standards and certification processes regarding locally manufactured mechanical and electro-mechanical components. The Regulation is issued on the basis of Article 6/B of the Law No. 5346 on the Use of Renewable Energy Resources for The Purpose of Electric Power Generation.
Investment
Local content requirement: 
Bonus tariffs shall apply in proportion to the percentage of each locally manufactured part in the components, provided that the locally manufactured parts constitute at least 55% of the relevant components.

ARTICLE 4 – (1) Licensee legal entities wishing to benefit from the provision in Article 6/B of the Law for the first time in the next calendar year have to apply to the Ministry and/or the institution assigned by the Ministry until 1 August of the current year.
