Energy management principles: 
S.O. 491 (E), - In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (iv) of Section 11A of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby specifies production of cement, syn-gas obtained through coal gasification (underground and surface) and coal liquefaction to be end uses for the purpose of the said Act.
