2. Section 30 of the Electricity Law shall be substituted by the following section:- (30). Whoever commits any act mentioned below, shall, in addition to being prosecuted under this Law or under any other law for the time being in force pay as compensation to the State - owned organization concerned the market value of the destroyed electrical materials and equipment or for the loss arising out of the act the amount as prescribed under the procedures- (a) destruction of State-owned electrical materials and equipment: (b) transferring without a permit of the State-owned organization concerned of the electrical materials and equipment owned by the State to any other person; (c) consumption of electrical energy by theft; (d) consumption of electrical energy by way of relaying and sub transmitting without a permit of the State-owned organization concerned; (e) using for commercial purpose electrical energy connected from domestic or domestic power meters; (f) consumption of electrical energy beyond the energy load limit of the industrial power meter.
