2. Clause 2 of the Notification of the Department of Energy Businesses re: Transfer of the Burden of Work on Controlled Fuel Oils Operations Pursuant to the Act defining Plans and Process of Decentralization to Local Administrative Bodies, B.E. 2542 dated December 1st, 2003 shall be forthwith repealed and superseded by the following: “2. Assignment of authority is made by the Director-General of the Department of Energy Businesses to those holding the following positions in the local administrative bodies, to act as Licensee(s) under the Fuel Oils Control Act: (1) Governor of the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority, for areas within Bangkok Metropolis, or District Directors in the Bangkok Metropolitan areas under their jurisdiction. (2) President of Muang Pattaya, for areas within Muang Pattaya. (3) Mayor or Mayoress within areas of the municipality under his/her responsibility. (4) President of the Sub-District Local Administrative Authority, within areas of the Sub-District Local Administrative Authority under his/her responsibility.
