2. Regulation 2 of the Energy Conservation (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2013 (G.N. No. S 247/2013) is amended by deleting paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting the following paragraphs: “(a) any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 12(2), 12A(2), 18(3), 19(2), 20(a), 23(5), 26(2) (including when read with section 26C(2)), 26A(3), 26B(4), 26C(6), 27(4), 27A(2), 27B(2), 28(3), 29(3), 30(6), 31A(3), 35(2), 36(2)(a), 64(3) or 65(3) of the Act; (b) any offence under regulation 8(1) or (2), 10(2) or 11(2) of the Energy Conservation (Regulated Goods and Registered Suppliers) Regulations 2017 (G.N. No. S 748/2017).”.

ENERGY CONSERVATION (COMPOSITION OF OFFENCES)

(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 74(3) of the Energy Conservation Act, the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Energy Conservation (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 and come into operation on 1 January 2018.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Energy Conservation (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2013 (G.N. No. S 247/2013) is amended by deleting paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting the following paragraphs:

“(a) any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 12(2), 12A(2), 18(3), 19(2), 20(a), 23(5), 26(2) (including when read with section 26C(2)),

26A(3), 26B(4), 26C(6), 27(4), 27A(2), 27B(2), 28(3), 29(3), 30(6), 31A(3), 35(2), 36(2)(a), 64(3) or 65(3) of the Act;

(b) any offence under regulation 8(1) or (2), 10(2) or 11(2) of the Energy Conservation (Regulated Goods and Registered Suppliers) Regulations 2017 (G.N. No. S 748/2017).”.
