Overall Summary: 
The Conference of the Parties, recognizing that climate change represents a serious threat to human activities that requires the widest cooperation by all countries with a view to reducing the global greenhouse gases emissions, adopts the Paris Agreement under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (hereinafter referred to as “the Agreement”). Under the Agreement, the Parties are invited to communicate their first nationally determined contribution no later than when the Party submits its respective instrument of ratification, accession, or approval of the Paris Agreement.
